Shopping Tips for finding the best SPRING wardrobe!

Whether you are shopping for yourself or your little ones, there are some definite must haves this spring that you should know about!

Let’s start with the kiddies as I know you only want the best for your little babe…

Check out the best of the best and biggest trends this spring for your trendy tykes!…

*Tough and chic are what it’s all about.  You’ll see some obvious punk inspiration not only for the mini men, but also for your tiny rocker chick!  You are going to see a lot of studding in metallic silver and gold.  So awesome!

*Bright colors mixed with bold embellishments.  Lots of turquoises, ruby reds and royal blues.  And of course, you can never go wrong with basic black!

*Preppy punk…something we’ve always LOVED at Childish Clothing and now it looks as if everyone else is catching on!  Cool plaids and lots of madras prints paired with the perfect pique button down! 

*Stripes are just so cool…for both boys and girls.  And it doesn’t get any better than basic black and white! 

*Long, sweeping sundresses for your little lady are a definite must have this spring.  Great for school, perfect for the park and even better for the beach!!  Pair with a strappy sandal for a most complete look!

And now for all those HAUTE mommas out there….We haven’t forgotten about you! 

This spring, look for pieces full of structure and substance.  You’re going to have to work a little bit harder this spring to achieve the ultimate look but I can guarantee you that it will be worth it. 

Separates are back and better than ever.  A combination of gorgeous fabrics and beautiful silhouettes will afford you outfits fit for a queen! 

Here are a few of my favorites for spring:

*Off the shoulder dresses in unforgettable fabrics and colors.  Stick with dresses that fall at or above the knee.  It’s springtime after all!

*One of my favorite trends this spring is the return of the trench coat.  Whether it’s a trench dress that can be easily paired with heels and a great bag or a longer fitting trench jacket worn gracefully over slacks or jeans, the trench is an elegant, yet sporty must have piece for spring.

*Pregnant?  Look for empire waist dresses with lots of movement and swing!  I especially love the maxi dress for all you mommas-to-be!  And grab one in a soft tropical print for a perfectly pretty look!

*New mom??  Grab one or our amazing cotton jersey tees and pair with your favorite long, bootcut jeans.  Still struggling with fitting into those Sevens??  Stick with your trusty maternity jeans (of course, the ones without that awful band) and your secret is safe with me!

Now, go on out there and pick up a fabulous spring wardrobe!  You and your little ones most definitely deserve it!
