The Art of Elysium Event

My husband and I were invited to be a part of an amazing event this past weekend. Our friends work with an incredible charity called THE ART OF ELYSIUM. This non-profit organization was formed in 1997 and encourages working actors, artists and musicians to voluntarily dedicate their time and talent to children who are battling serious medical conditions. They provide artistic workshops in the following disciplines: acting, art, comedy, fashion, music, radio, songwriting and creative writing.
On Saturday evening, the charity celebrated its 10 year anniversary. And what a glamorous and wonderful celebration! Held at the Vibiana venue in downtown Los Angeles, the event featured a gorgeous fashion show with Oscar De La Renta, Prada, Carolina Herrera, Lanvin (my personal favorite!), Versace, Etro and more. The dinner was incredible, people were amazing and it truly seemed like "Heaven", the most appropriate title for the event.
Hanging out with friends, both new and old, and meeting such humble, giving people made the night a memorable one to say the least.
