BABY SHOWER BABE!!

A baby shower is quite possibly one of the most important days of a woman's pregnancy! It's your day to celebrate and momma, you've gotta look FABULOUS!!!

Today, you'll be photographed more than any other day of your pregnancy. Those pictures are sticking with you for the rest of your life, so you'll want to look like the gorgeous momma that you are.

Don't stress.. Just follow these easy Do's and Don'ts to help get you started: (and as always, go with your instinct...only you know when you feel your absolute best!)
  • DO wear something comfortable, yet memorable. You're going to be looking at those pictures for years to come and you don't want to look like how you may be feeling, now do you?

  • DON'T wear something overly loud or trendy - remember, this one is going down in picture history. That's not to say you can't get creative -- just tone it down a tiny, tiny bit, that's all. Simple is always better.

  • DO wear something that highlights your assets. Buff biceps? A graceful sheath will do the trick. Hot legs? A sassy mini is just calling your name...if you dare!

  • DON'T wear something that looks matronly, however comfortable it is. Now is a good time to invest in a cute, fitted and flattering maternity dress or form-fitting top you can wear with looser pants. Other suggestions: a favorite body-hugging tee and a long, languid skirt, or a gorgeous blazer over a tank top and jeans. These types of looks will make you look slimmest on film.

  • DO wear something that makes you feel like a million bucks. Stick to colors that make you look radiant, fabrics that feel good (baby-soft cashmere or merino, mercerised cotton, breezy linen) and cuts that you typically gravitate to. Today isn't the day to experiment with a new look, even if your hormones are telling you otherwise.

  • DON'T play dress up if that's not your schtick. For example, if you're a jeans kind of girl, then wear them. You can deck out the rest of your outfit to pull off jeans with panache, honest.

Need more help in finding the perfect outfit for your special shower day?
Check out these tips for looking simply swanky at your shower. But please, dress for yourself as well as the event. This is your time:

Sundress Sistah: You just can't go wrong with a sundress - it's always fresh, always in style. Better yet, if you can wear a strapless sundress, then do so - it's sexy and sophisticated all in one. Opt for a halter top or empire line. If it's on the chilly side, throw on a cropped cardigan knit - looks adorable tied under your boobs. Thank God the capelet and every reincarnation of the design is still going strong as this piece works wonders!

Dress You Up: Few dresses are as easy, graceful and polished as a wrap dress, thanks to Diane Von Furstenberg. (No wonder, she sold five million in the first four years of designing them!) In super-soft jersey, paired with pearls and a pair of kitten heels and hair tossed into a loose bun, you've got a pristine shower look that would make anyone proud.

Bohemian Belle: A peasant-inspired top with dressy capris and heels or a long, layered romantic skirt with a belly-hugging top are both always stylish, especially when your shower is a Sunday brunch. Kimono-cut tunics are always flattering too.

Totally Tubular: Pair a tube top with a layered skirt or cargos and a chunky necklace for a delicate yet rockin' outfit that's perfectly memorable and easy to wear. Remember, comfort is key!

There you have it - as long as you stay true to your fashion comfort zone, you'll feel - and look - like a million bucks at your shower, even if you are feeling big as a house!
