Storytime.
Week of: July 26, 2005
Who doesn’t love storytime? We still do and we’re in our
30s! Reading is great at any age. Studies have shown
that children begin to learn even before they are born.
A child’s mental development begins in the womb.
Reading together can influence your child’s future in so
many ways. And it helps in creating a vivid imagination
which we all know how much a child loves to pretend.
Studies have also shown that children who are read to
are better at problem solving, are more advanced in
interpersonal communication and are better listeners.
Reading is the best gift you can give your child.
Encourage a bedtime story before turning out the lights. Not only is this precious time
with your little one, it will benefit them in more ways than you know.
Read on and ROCK ON!
