LITTLE PEOPLE
Week of: February 26, 2006

The strangest thing is happening. Well, I guess it's really not that strange. The moment in your life when your kid starts making friends and grows into a complete identity of his own.

For months and years - and I must say now that I truly think this never ends - you groom your children to be the best little people they can possibly be. You teach them love, you teach them respect and you teach them kindness. They then take all these valuable lessons and go out in life and find friends.

They attend school, they learn to coexist with other little people, where they learn life's most simple yet valuable lessons-some of which are harder to grasp than others. (Let's face it, sharing is a touch one!)

And then, all of a sudden, they have a group of friends that they will forever remember. It's interesting to watch the friends that your child attracts. In my experiences, they are similar in personality and attitude and share a mutual respect for life.

I also find that the parents of those said kids equally compliment our lifestyle (Thank God for that!).

Encourage your children to be the best that they can be. Be supportive and loving and attentive, as your children have nothing else to learn from. You are their example, you are their textbook, you create the atmosphere for which your child learns everything about life.

The more you teach your children now, the more complete their lives will ultimately become.
