Childish Bows Organic Maternity, Children’s Collection
"Los Angeles-based Childish Clothing has launched Childish {green}, a certified organic and eco-friendly maternity and children’s collection. “This is only the beginning of Childish Clothing’s commitment to global responsibility,” said owner and designer Skye Hoppus. “The Childish {green} line is growing, as we add fashionable and innovative new eco-friendly fabrics and styles and explore more environmentally-friendly methods of production. Childish Clothing is also taking great steps in our internal operations to reduce paper waste, recycle and conserve energy.”
The organic baby collection includes one-pieces made with 100-percent certified organic cotton interlock and are created with low-impact organic dyes and water-based sustainable ink. For the maternity line, Hoppus decided to knit her own fabric of certified organic cotton and Lycra.
